The exhibition offers a rare glimpse behind the scenes of Israeli art, revealing surprising connections between love and artistic creation through the relationships of iconic artists in the history of Israeli art. Through archival materials presented to the general public for the first time—including letters, photographs, sketchbooks, and personal diaries—the exhibition explores the gaps between the artists’ public personas and their private lives, focusing on personal relationships, love, separation, and mutual influences that shaped both their creative work and their distinctive artistic languages: Ziona Shimshi and Yachin Hirsch, Hedwig Grossman and Rudi Lehmann, and the artists Menashe Kadishman and Igael Tumarkin.
Tour duration: 60 minutes.
Space is limited | Each participant must have a ticket. ---
