The EMET Prize
The EMET Prize was awarded to Prof. Yizhak Sadai for his unique contribution to the fields of phenomenology and epistemology of music, for theorization and demonstartion the most basic systematic principles of tonal music, from which new methods in analytic instruction and research are derived. His publications constitute a significant contribution to persent day's musical thinking. All of these placed him as one of the greatest philosophers in the field of music in Israel as well as in the entire world.
