At the beginning of the 17th century, the Italian composer Claudio Monteverdi played a decisive role in the birth of the Baroque style and the opera genre.
In collaboration with guests from the London ensemble Vache Baroque, the school's singers will perform A selection of madrigals and opera pieces that he composed
(including from his last opera "L'incoronazione di Poppea")
Also in the program are works by the Jewish Baroque composer Salomona Rossi, and in particular from the book "The Songs of Solomon" (Venice, 1623),
Alongside works from the Italian and German Baroque performed by Kati Debretzni, Tal Arbel, Ofira Zakai and Uri Rom.
