At the center of this program we will find two of the 19th century composers who taught at the famous Paris Conservatory and whose artistic paths were intertwined in Paris at the end of the century.
From the works of César Franck, we will hear the violin sonata in B major and the piano quintet in F minor.
From the works of his colleague years younger than him, Gabriel Faure, we will hear the Elegy in C minor Op. 24 for cello and piano as well as a selection of chansons for voice and piano.
With the participation of Hagai Shaham (violin), Hillel Zori(cello), Assaf Zohar & Arnon Erez (piano)
