Applicants for Master's Degree:

Applicants for Master's degree have to take IBT TOEFL exam in their own country.

Registration is done through this link: https://www.ets.org/toefl/ibt/register

Important - TAU's TOEFL code is 7704. You will have to use this number in the day of your exam.

We must receive the results by June 1st, 2019. Keep in mind it takes 3 weeks after the exam to receive the score.


Applicants for Bachelor's Degree:

Bachelor's applicants are requested to take the Israeli AMIR exam upon their arrival to Israel in order to determine their level of English.
The scale of the total AMIR score ranges from 150 to 250 points. The minimum score required by the School of Music is 200. 

Students receiving 200-219 points must take the advanced English A* (1st semester) and advanced English B (2nd semester) courses in order to be exempted from English.

Students receiving 220-233 points must only take the advanced English B course.

Students receiving more than 233 points are exempted from English.

All students must be exempted from English by the end of their first year of studies.
